Darkan may collect and process information necessary to create and manage accounts, authenticate users, and provide game features.

• name or display name;
• email address;
• profile picture, when provided by the authentication service;
• information related to account, characters, levels, progression, items, and equipment;
• technical information necessary for safety and service operations.

Darkan offers authentication using a Google Account. When you select “Sign in with Google”, authentication is performed by Google services. According to granted permissions, Google may provide basic info such as Google Account identifier, name, email address, and profile photo.

Darkan does not receive or store your Google Account password.

Information received via Google authentication is used to create, identify, link, and authenticate player accounts, display basic profile details, protect against unauthorized access, and provide account-related functions.

Darkan does not use Google authentication to access Gmail, Google Drive, Google Calendar, or any other Google service unnecessary for authentication.

To provide gameplay features, we may store information related to player activities and progress, including characters, levels, experience, skills, items, equipment, account settings, and necessary gameplay states.

Information may be used to provide and maintain the game, manage accounts, authenticate players, save progress, maintain security, prevent fraud and abuse, diagnose technical issues, enhance features, and respond to support inquiries.

Account information is stored on Darkan’s infrastructure for as long as necessary to provide our services. Certain records may be retained longer for security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or legal compliance.

Darkan does not sell personal data. Information may be processed by trusted infrastructure partners (hosting, databases, authentication) strictly limited to their necessary operational duties.

Data may also be disclosed when required by lawful requests or to protect safety, rights, and service integrity.

Darkan implements appropriate organizational and technical measures to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, alteration, or unlawful disclosure. However, no internet-connected system can guarantee absolute security.

Account-related data is kept while your account is active or needed to provide services. Certain data may be retained afterwards to satisfy statutory obligations, resolve disputes, or prevent fraud.

You may request deletion of your account and personal data through official Darkan support channels. Upon verification, data will be deleted or anonymized, subject to statutory retention obligations.

You may manage or revoke permissions granted to Darkan at any time in your Google Account security settings. Revocation prevents future sign-ins with that authorization but does not automatically delete previously stored account records.

The Darkan website may utilize cookies and similar technologies essential for session management, security, and user preferences. Should additional tracking or analytics be introduced, this policy will be promptly updated.

Certain features depend on third-party services, such as authentication and server hosting. These providers maintain their own privacy policies and terms of service.

Subject to applicable privacy legislation (including LGPD / GDPR), you may request confirmation of processing, access to personal data, correction of inaccuracies, and deletion where applicable.

Darkan does not knowingly collect personal data from children in violation of applicable laws. If improper collection is discovered, prompt corrective actions will be taken.

This Privacy Policy may be updated as Darkan evolves or technical and statutory obligations change. The latest version will always be posted here with the effective revision date.
